This is Wedding Charts. It's the easiest way to make your wedding seating chart, right in your browser. Start with your guest list. Copy the names from a spreadsheet, a note, or even an email, and paste them in. Add a group after a comma, and everyone lands in your list, already sorted. Your room is ready too. Round tables, a sweetheart table, and a dance floor. You can change all of it whenever you like. Now the fun part. Drag a guest onto any chair. Or press Arrange, and Wedding Charts seats everyone in one go, keeping each group together. Want to move someone? Just drag them to a new seat. Pick a color that matches your day. When it's ready, print a seating poster for the entrance, place cards for every table, and a QR page so guests can find their seat on their phone. You can design your whole chart for free. When you're ready to save and print, the Couple plan is nineteen dollars a year. Wedding Charts. Every guest, the right seat.

Let's add your guest list to Wedding Charts. There are a few ways to do it. The quickest is to paste. Copy a column of names from anywhere, and paste them in. To put someone in a group, add the group after a comma, like Bride's family, or College friends. The preview shows exactly what will come in. Press Import, and your guests appear on the left, sorted by group. To add one more person, type their name in the box at the top, and press Enter. Have a spreadsheet? Upload an Excel or CSV file instead. Wedding Charts matches the columns for you, so names, groups, meals and RSVPs all come along. Check the matches, then import. Click any guest to see their details. You can change their group, pair them with the person they're coming with, and set their RSVP. Choose a meal, or add a dietary note for the caterer. And when the list gets long, search finds anyone in a second. That's your guest list, done.

Set up your room

Start from a ready-made room, then rename tables, add seats, and add the bar and the DJ.

Let's set up the room for your reception. The fastest start is a ready-made room. Pick one that looks like your venue, like this classic ballroom. Every table and chair sits right where it will be on the day. Click a table to change it. Give it a name, and add or remove seats. Drag a table to move it anywhere in the room. To add a table, choose a shape from the toolbar at the bottom. Round, rectangle, chair rows for the ceremony, and more. Set the number of seats, and add it. The Venue menu has everything else in the room. The bar, the cake table, the DJ, and the photo booth. When things feel crowded, press Auto space, and Wedding Charts spreads the tables out evenly. Now your room is ready for your guests.

Seat your guests

0:44

Drag guests to chairs, let Arrange seat everyone, swap people, and keep two guests apart.

Your guests are in, and your room is set. Now let's seat everyone. Drag a guest from the list onto any chair. Their initials appear at the seat, and the list shows exactly where they're sitting. Prefer to see full names? Switch from Initials to Names. To seat everyone at once, press Arrange. Wedding Charts fills the tables and keeps each group together. Then fine tune it. Drag a guest onto someone else's chair, and the two of them swap places. Some people shouldn't sit together. Open Rules, and pick the two guests. Add the rule. Press Unseat all, then Arrange again, and Wedding Charts keeps them at different tables. That's it. Everyone has a seat.

Print and share

Your chart is finished. Let's print it. Press Export to see everything Wedding Charts can make from your chart. Start with the seating poster for the entrance. Guests find their name, and their table, in seconds. Choose a style that suits your wedding, and a size that fits your easel. Then download a print-ready PDF, or send it straight to your printer. Place cards and escort cards are here too, laid out with trim marks, so they're easy to cut. The caterer gets a list for every table, with each guest's meal. And with the guest QR page, guests scan a code and find their seat on their phone. Your chart saves to your account as you go, so you can pick it up on any device. Happy planning, from all of us at Wedding Charts.
