Privacy Policy

Wedding Charts is a seating-chart planner for iPad, Mac, and the web at weddingcharts.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it. The short version: your charts are yours, we collect the minimum needed to run the product, and we don't sell or share your data with anyone.
What we collect
- Account email. If you create an account, we store your email address to sign you in (via a one-time code) and to identify your saved charts.
- Sign in with Apple. If you sign in with Apple, we store the identifier Apple provides and the email associated with it (which may be Apple's private relay address). We never see your Apple password.
- Your seating charts. Charts you save to your account — including the guest names, groups, meals, notes, and floor plans you enter — are stored on our servers so they're available in the app and on the web. Charts you keep only on your device stay on your device.
- Published seat-finder pages. If you publish a guest seat-finder page, the page carries guest names and their table assignments, plus the event name, couple names and date, at a random unlisted address. You can take a page down at any time.
- Server logs. Standard technical logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) kept briefly for security and debugging.
What we don't do
- No advertising, ad trackers, or analytics beyond our own server logs.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with third parties for their own use.
- Contacts imported from your device stay on your device — the app's Contacts import never sends your address book to us.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the product: our own servers host your account and charts; sign-in code emails are delivered by Resend; purchases made in the app would be processed entirely by Apple, and we would never see your payment details (Wedding Charts has no purchases today). Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Your guests' names
Seating charts naturally contain other people's names and details. You're responsible for having a reasonable basis to enter them; we process that information only to provide the planner to you, and it is deleted along with your charts.
Retention and deletion
Your account and stored charts are kept until you delete them. Deleting your account (from the account screen in the app or on the web) removes your account record and every chart and published page stored with it. Sign-in codes expire after ten minutes.
Children
Wedding Charts is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and note the change on this page.
