Terms of Service
Effective August 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of Wedding Charts — the iPad and Mac app and the web planner at weddingcharts.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.
Your account
You can use much of the Service without an account. Creating one requires a valid email address (or Sign in with Apple); you're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be at least 13 to use the Service.
Your content
The seating charts, guest lists, and floor plans you create are yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service: storing your charts, syncing them between the app and the web, rendering your exports, and serving the seat-finder pages you choose to publish. We claim no other rights to your content. You're responsible for the information you enter, including having a reasonable basis to enter other people's names and details.
Published pages
Seat-finder pages you publish live at unlisted addresses that anyone with the link can open. You control publishing and can take a page down at any time; taking it down removes it from our servers.
Purchases
Paid features purchased in the app are billed through your Apple account, and Apple's terms govern billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings at any time; a cancelled subscription runs to the end of its paid period.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others.
- Don't attempt to break, probe, or overload the Service, or access another person's account or charts.
- Don't resell the Service or misrepresent it as your own.
Availability and warranty
We work to keep the Service fast and reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Keep your own copies of anything critical — the app's local storage and exports make that easy.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Termination
You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the Service evolves; meaningful changes will be reflected in the date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
